What is It?

The P&G Alumni Network holds its Global Conference every 2 years. In 2017, we return to Cincinnati — now a nationally-recognized hub for technology and the arts, where we’ll be offering:

  • This is a new track for the P&G Alumni Conference, featuring young, rising stars in the P&G Alumni Network plus other leading outside speakers. This group is adapting new technologies to challenges in Fortune 500 companies or disrupting age-old industries in startups. They are passionate, driven, and successful. We bring together an eco-system of inventors, startup founders, digital experts, funders and accelerators for a combination of content and contacts.

Small Business Symposium & Trade Show Expo (NEW!)

Friday, October 13, 7:30 am - 4:30pm (Crossroads, Oakley Campus)

  • The Small Business Symposium/Trade Show Expo is a special event on Friday, Oct. 13th to help small businesses and those involved in non-profit organizations gain learning, build networks, and create awareness to help grow their organizations. This event will be held at Crossroads Oakley and is part of the broader P&G Alumni Network 2017 Global Conference occurring the same week.

There are 3 key parts to the event:


  1. Gain learning by participating in keynote presentations and breakout sessions on a variety of topics to help small businesses and non-profit organizations to get more established/be more successful. See schedule below that runs from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Check-in begins at 7:30 AM.
  2. Create awareness and promote your small business or non-profit organization by setting up an exhibit booth at the Life After P&G Expo from 1:00-3:00 PM and which is also open to the public to attend.
  3. Network with other small business owners and gain tips from their experience at Madtree Brewery from 3:00-4:30 PM.

This event is open to the public.

9:30-12:30 pm Breakout Sessions (5 rooms, 4 breakouts, one every 45 minutes). All breakouts will be recorded and participants can access a podcast of all 20 presentations.

12:30 pm - 1:00 pm Lunch - Boxed Lunch included with Paid Small Business Conference ticket. Food will also be available to be purchased from Food truck.

1:00-3:00 pm Trade Show Expo (open to general public) where small businesses and non-profits can promote their business to the greater Cincinnati public. If you are interested in purchasing an exhibit booth see link below for details.

3:00-4:30 pm Networking Happy Hour at Madtree Brewery

Cost: $99 which includes access to keynote presentations, breakout presentations on 20 topics, a box lunch, and one drink ticket to the Happy Hour at Madtree Brewery. After the conference, you will also get access to podcasts of all 20 breakout sessions. Booths at the “Trade Show Expo" are available to promote your business/non-profit at an additional cost (see link below for details).

Trade Show Expo: From 1:00pm-3:00pm on Friday, Oct. 13th, the general public in Greater Cincinnati will be invited to learn more about small businesses and non-profits who want to exhibit at the event. This will be a free event for the general public to attend. There are a limited number of exhibit booth spaces available. Exhibit booths start at $99. Everyone attending the Small Business Symposium in the morning is welcome to attend the Trade Show Expo in the afternoon. In addition, The Trade Show Expo has been advertised through local media inviting the general public to attend.


Welcome Speaker:

Mr. Scott Weiss is the Chief Executive officer and Interim Chairman of the Board at Ocean Accelerator and Unpolished. He is also a Coordinator of Business Curriculum at the firm.

Keynote Speaker:

The Mercantile Library was founded by future titans of Cincinnati industry back in 1835. It is one of the country's foremost membership libraries and once counted both William Procter and James Gamble among its members. Membership is open to any person who has been employed by P&G anywhere, in any function or capacity. It includes both retirees and those still actively engaged in professional careers outside of P&G.

 Every 2 years, we host a Global Conference. Past conferences have been held in Rome, London, Geneva, Toronto, Miami, Cincinnati and Madrid.
